Energy Trading BA

Description

Proven knowledge and experience in the Energy Trading arena, ideally Gas and Power trading, with a focus on LNG Trading being a plus.

Previous experience in electronic trading, real-time position monitoring, and PNL reconciliation is highly desirable.

Demonstrable Business Analysis experience within a trading environment, preferably in an energy or commodity trading company or consultancy, with a focus on European markets or a global perspective.

Experience in specifying and writing user specifications and business requirements for algorithmic trading and/or quant development teams is essential.

Experience in requirement elicitation techniques such as facilitating workshops, conducting interviews, prototyping, and document analysis.

Experience working with iterative development methodologies like Agile.

Demonstrable experience in coordinating complex projects or initiatives.

Experience in delivering energy trading or energy supplier software solutions.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong understanding of complex business issues to specify IT solutions, possesses a continuous improvement mindset, has a data background, and can communicate technical concepts fluently with stakeholders.
