Energy Manager

This is a temporary role and the rate is £550.00 per day PAYE.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in shaping and delivering a comprehensive approach to energy and water efficiency, driving improvements through targeted investment, strategic planning and the implementation of effective measures. They will monitor performance, identify opportunities for savings and renewable solutions, and commission detailed surveys to inform future programmes.

They will provide expert guidance on utility procurement, manage funding streams such as Salix, and oversee projects from feasibility through to completion, ensuring strong financial and commercial control. The role also requires building productive partnerships with suppliers, external agencies and specialist organisations, supporting the development of innovative energy services, including potential ESCO models, while contributing to wider carbon reduction and climate objectives.
