Energy Advisor - Highlands and Islands

About The Role

Join Changeworks as an Energy Advisor in the Highlands & Islands, helping households in this region receive free, impartial advice to lower their energy bills and reduce their environmental impact.

As an Energy Advisor, you'll be the first point of call for householders who need free and impartial advice to lower their bills and reduce their environmental impact. You will engage with customers, communicate effectively and relay technical information to a non technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries and make outbound calls to existing customers.
• Provide high quality, personalised advice that helps customers understand their options, take action and make positive changes to their energy use.
• Support customers across Argyll & Bute, Highland, Na h Eileanan Siar (Western Isles), Orkney and Shetland.
• Refer householders to grants and funding to keep their homes warmer for less.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the system.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with customers and excellent communication skills.
• Good IT skills and a stable internet connection.
• Must live within one of the local authority areas served by the Home Energy Scotland Highlands & Islands Advice Centre.
• Interest in energy, sustainability or the environment is an advantage.
