Endevor Administrator - 6-Month Contract | Hybrid (Manchester)

We're supporting a large banking programme that's looking for an experienced Endevor Administrator to join their Mainframe team.

You'll play a key role in managing and supporting CA Endevor environments, ensuring stable releases, smooth deployments, and high system reliability across multiple LPARs.

Location: Manchester (2 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6 months (with extensions likely)

• Administer and maintain CA Endevor environments

• Manage version control and change management for Mainframe applications

• Create and maintain processor groups, element types, and exits

• Perform upgrades, installations, and configuration of Endevor software

• Automate deployments, shipments, and archiving

• Support developers and provide Endevor guidance

• Monitor system performance and maintain documentation

• 8+ years of experience in Endevor administration or Mainframe support

• Strong skills in JCL, TSO/ISPF, REXX, and CLIST

• Familiarity with ACF2 or RACF for security administration

• Experience with automation and Scripting

• Good understanding of Cobol, JCL, or other Mainframe languages
