Job Title: Senior Skills and Education Co-ordinator
Location: Lincoln (Main Works + TP)
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
Contract Length: 6 months (with long-term potential)
Hourly Rate: £20.79 per hour PAYE
Working Pattern: Full Time (37 hours/week)
Are you passionate about shaping the future of engineering talent? Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Skills and Education Co-ordinator to join their team in Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and innovate within early career development programmes, including apprenticeships, internships, and graduate schemes!
What You'll Do:
As a Senior Skills and Education Co-ordinator, you will:
- Design and deliver high-quality training programmes compliant with Ofsted and DfE regulations.
- Collaborate with educational institutions to create pathways for aspiring engineers.
- Support the Skills and Education Manager and act as a second nominee for Ofsted inspections.
- Facilitate the development of apprentices, ensuring adherence to apprenticeship standards and end-point assessments.
- Provide guidance on talent training and upskilling initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Safeguarding/Prevent policies while fostering a safe learning environment.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Experience in an engineering training environment focused on skills development.
- A minimum Level 4 qualification in engineering, learning and development, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeship training delivery, standard structures, and government-funded training.
- Experience with Ofsted inspections and compliance requirements.
- The ability to provide insightful advice on talent training and development strategies.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a natural curiosity and willingness to learn.
- A full driving licence and the flexibility to work across various locations as needed.
