Location: Cardiff or Bristol
Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (initial on-site expectation)

About the Role

A new opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor (1-4 PQE) to join a growing and well-regarded team ahead of significant legislative changes in employment law. The firm is investing in its employment offering and is looking to strengthen its capability as demand from both employers and individuals continues to increase. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your own caseload while working closely with experienced senior solicitors on more complex matters.

The role will involve:

• Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, and TUPE matters
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
• Supporting clients through Employment Tribunal processes
• Building relationships with SME and corporate clients
• Contributing to business development and growth of the department

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1-4 years PQE in employment law
• Have experience handling both advisory and contentious matters
• Be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate strong client care and commercial awareness
• Be keen to develop your expertise as employment law continues to evolve
