Job Description

Our client is a highly regarded law firm and on their behalf, we are seeking a proactive and client-focused Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its well-established Employment Law team. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload and provide expert legal advice across a broad spectrum of employment matters, supporting both individuals and businesses.

The firm is known for delivering outstanding client service and is looking for a lawyer who shares this commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a wide range of employment matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, and contractual disputes.
  • Represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and other legal forums.
  • Advise on day-to-day HR and employee relations matters, policies, and procedures.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and conciliation processes.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, handbooks, policies, and legal correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documentation.
  • Keep up to date with changes in employment law and contribute to the firm's legal knowledge base.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering tailored, high-quality legal support.
  • Support the firm's reputation for excellence in client care and service delivery.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in employment law and the ability to manage a busy caseload with confidence. Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a proactive and solutions-focused approach to legal problem-solving.
