Are you a newly qualified solicitor with a passion for employment law? We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly regarded public sector organisation, looking for an Employment NQ to join their team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hybrid role that offers flexibility and career development.

The successful Employment NQ:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of employment cases, advising trade union representatives on disciplinary and grievance issues.

Negotiate with employers to achieve desired outcomes through workplace resolutions or settlement agreements.

Handle contentious matters, including early conciliation and Employment Tribunal claims, from start to finish.

Draft grievances, appeals, statements of case, and prepare for hearings or mediations.

Provide expert legal advice to members via telephone, email, or meetings.

About You:

Qualified Solicitor status.

Strong knowledge and understanding of employment law.

Experience managing claimant cases effectively (trade union experience is ideal but not essential).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Proficiency in IT and case management systems.

Analytical and problem-solving skills
