Employment Associate / Senior Associate

The Role

We are seeking a talented Employment Lawyer (Associate or Senior Associate) with 5-7 years PQE to join our Lancashire Team based in the East Lancashire office. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied and high-quality caseload while playing a key role in the growth of our practice.

What We're Looking For
  • 5-7 years' PQE, with experience managing your own caseload.
  • Proven ability to manage a complex caseload of respondent Employment Tribunal matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience advising across all areas of employment law, including discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancy, reorganisation projects, grievances, disciplinary matters, and TUPE.
  • Experience in corporate support.
  • Strong time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and meet targets.
  • A proactive approach to business development, including drafting articles and attending events (with support from our Legal Director).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • A collaborative approach as a team player.
  • A flexible approach and ability to adapt to different tasks.
  • Experience supervising and supporting junior team members.
  • Knowledge of the Liverpool market (advantageous, not essential).
  • A passion for people, progress, and practical solutions.
