Job Description
Overview

Leading marketing and technology services operator is looking for an Employment Counsel. This will initially be on a three month contract with the likelihood of extension and the potential to secure a permanent role later in the year. The arrangement is part-time (3 days per week) with the possibility to work up to 4 days in a busy week if needed. The preference is to be in the office 1 day per week, but remote working can be considered for the right candidate, provided they are able and willing to travel to the London office for key stakeholder meetings when required. You must have the right to work in the UK and be based in the UK. Sponsorship or remote working from overseas cannot be offered on this occasion.

The day-to-day remit is predominantly advisory work on employment law matters such as hiring, performance management and termination; wage and hour rules; harassment, discrimination and bullying; contingent worker issues, etc. You will work closely with HR and other departments to ensure consistency of employment policies across the business, as well as delivering training and implementation strategy relating to the UK Employment Rights Act. There will also be a requirement to liaise with external counsel on tribunal/litigation matters.

Contract details

Salary: £700 - £800 per day. Experience Level: Mid Management. Focus: Employment. Industry: Marketing.

Requirements
