Employment Guidance Officer (EGO) - Specialist

Liffey Partnership are seeking a motivated and client-focused Employment Guidance Officer to support individuals from disadvantaged communities, with a particular focus on Traveller and Roma participants, to access and sustain employment, training, and education opportunities. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one engagement, develop tailored progression plans, and work in collaboration with our internal service offering, employers, training providers, and local services to support participants in achieving sustainable outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a targeted employment initiative aimed at improving long-term labour market participation among communities who experience significant barriers to employment. The post advertised is for a Fixed Term Contract 16 months from date of employment.

The successfully shortlisted candidates will have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment, including marginalised groups
• Understanding of, or experience working with, Traveller and/or Roma communities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in case management, progression planning, or client support
• Good IT and administrative skills

Qualifications - Relevant qualification Level 8 or above (e.g. guidance, community development, social care, employment services) or equivalent experience

Salary range - circa €50,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
