Employee Relations Advisor (12-Months FTC)

Reed Business Support are seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join a busy HR team, providing expert guidance and support across a wide range of employee relations matters.

The Role

As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and advising on a broad range of ER cases while supporting managers with practical, commercially focused HR solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management cases from start to finish.
  • Providing advice and guidance to managers on employee relations issues and employment legislation.
  • Supporting investigations, hearings and appeals.
  • Advising on performance management and employee wellbeing matters.
  • Assisting with policy interpretation and implementation.
  • Ensuring all casework is managed in line with company procedures and employment law.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
  • Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing complex ER cases independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • CIPD qualification desirable but not essential.
