The teams in the Internal and External Services department (0511) work together to ensure that the GQ 0500 department (DRV-IT DSRV & Services) is able to work from an organizational and technical perspective. The teams are the hub for all internal and external employees of the department and take care of their essential concerns. The diverse services from various sub-disciplines are distributed across the service team, the process service and the hotline of the GQ 0500 department as well as the internal technical service, the experts for onboarding and offboarding and the cross-agency IT procurement coordination.
We are looking for a person with a service mentality and a passion for interacting with people for our Internal Technical Services IT Support department.

Your tasks

• First level employee support for software, hardware, peripherals - the complete IT equipment of the employees of DRV-IT DSRV & Services in Würzburg - both on site and for employees in the home office
• Support and maintenance of all meeting and presentation technology in the office buildings
• Responsibility for all end devices and peripherals at the location, including database maintenance and order management
• Applying for and maintaining all software authorizations in designated databases
• Participating in the planning, coordination and implementation of projects as well as independent supervision of projects, e.g. site-wide device replacement, handling callbacks
• Supporting terminal servers and applying for firewall activations

Your profile

• A completed university degree (Bachelor's, Diplom FH) in the IT field or completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g. as a system integrator) or an equivalent qualification (e.g. an IT-specific qualification) or comparable practical experience in the IT field
• Several years of task-relevant professional experience in the IT sector
• Knowledge of the installation, administration and configuration of the IT systems in the area of responsibility as well as the associated software, protocols and standards
• Experience in detecting, analyzing and correcting errors in the IT systems in the area of responsibility
• Knowledge of operating systems and networks
• Business fluent in written and spoken German
• Strong communication skills, empathy, a structured way of thinking and working as well as a pronounced service and solution orientation round off your profile

As the job requires flexibility and mobility during working hours, e.g. for installations in various office buildings or for employees working from home, you will need a class B driving license.

The position requires the willingness to occasionally travel for several days and to participate in further training/events outside the Würzburg location.
In order to enable employees with family obligations to participate in business trips or training courses offered by the DRV Bund, the DRV Bund reimburses additional, necessary and unavoidable care costs.
