This is a genuinely flexible opportunity and would suit:
- An experienced Employee Benefits Consultant
- An Associate Consultant looking to step up
- Someone with a Group Risk or Health & Wellbeing bias who is keen to further develop their pensions knowledge over time
Full support, training and long-term development are on offer.
The Role
You'll be responsible for servicing and developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of existing corporate Employee Benefits clients, delivering high-quality advice, guidance and ongoing support.
The role combines:
- A corporate advisory service to senior stakeholders
- A more bespoke, individual-focused service to scheme members
- Client schemes range from small SMEs to larger organisations (up to c.600 employees), providing plenty of variety and exposure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on Workplace Pensions, Group Risk, PMI, Cash Plans and broader Health & Wellbeing solutions
- Delivering employee benefit and financial wellbeing presentations (in person and remotely)
- Supporting the development of the overall Employee Benefits proposition
- Identifying referral opportunities across wider financial services
- Keeping up to date with market developments and industry trends
- Over time, taking ownership of client relationships and profitability
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in an Employee Benefits, Group Risk or Health & Wellbeing role
- Strong technical knowledge in at least part of the Employee Benefits landscape
- Confidence communicating with both corporate clients and individual employees
- The ability to explain complex information in clear, plain English
Level 4 / DipPFS is not essential for Associate-level candidates, and those keen to develop their pensions knowledge will be fully supported.
You'll also bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A consultative, client-focused approach
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- An openness to using technology and AI to improve processes
Package & Benefits
- £55,000 - £70,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- Discretionary bonus
- Comprehensive benefits package
- Hybrid working (London-based office)
- Clear long-term development and progression opportunities
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking consultancy offering genuine flexibility, strong career development and exposure to a broad range of Employee Benefits work.
