Employability Skills Coach

Location: North-West & Yorkshire: Manchester, Leeds, Bradford

Position: Full-Time

Contract: Temporary Ongoing

Pay Rate: £16 per hour.

Reed Further Education are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Employability Coach to support learners in developing the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to progress into further education, training, or employment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver employability support and coaching to learners on a one-to-one and group basis.
• Assist learners with CV writing, job applications, interview preparation, and job search techniques.
• Support learners in developing essential workplace and transferable skills.
• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
• Build positive relationships with learners, employers, and internal stakeholders.
• Encourage learner engagement, motivation, and achievement.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience supporting individuals with employability, careers, training, or progression goals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners from a variety of backgrounds
• Good organisational and administrative skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable:

• Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification
• Experience within Further Education, training providers, or employability programmes
• Knowledge of the local labour market and employment pathways
