EMEA VP Compensation
Posted 6 days 1 hour ago by Frazer Jones
The best reward careers are often built not through title inflation, but through exposure, development and the opportunity to learn from exceptional leaders.
This opportunity offers exactly that.
An established international financial services organisation is seeking a Reward Manager to join its EMEA HR team in London, supporting a broad and sophisticated reward agenda spanning compensation, governance, regulation, and strategic reward projects.
Working alongside a highly respected Reward leadership team known for developing talent, you'll gain exposure to both the technical and strategic elements of reward within a complex, regulated environment. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious reward professional who enjoys solving problems, working with data and developing deep subject matter expertise, while continuing to grow their career within a supportive and collaborative team.
The RoleAs a key member of the Reward function, you'll support the delivery of both business-as-usual reward activities and longer-term strategic initiatives across the EMEA region.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting annual compensation and salary review processes.
- Designing and implementing reward frameworks, policies and governance structures.
- Managing complex compensation datasets, ensuring data integrity and identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting.
- Delivering market benchmarking and compensation analytics to support business decision-making.
- Supporting remuneration governance, committee activity and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Leading the identification and administration of Material Risk Takers (MRTs).
- Contributing to strategic reward initiatives, including salary structures, pay transparency readiness and broader reward programme development.
- Providing expert guidance to HR colleagues, managers and employees on reward-related matters.
You'll bring strong reward experience and a genuine interest in developing your expertise within a sophisticated, highly regulated environment.
We're particularly interested in individuals with:
- Experience across compensation, market benchmarking and annual reward cycles.
- Strong analytical capability and confidence working with large, complex datasets.
- Advanced Excel and reward reporting skills.
- An understanding of financial services reward regulation, ideally to include CRD V.
- Experience preparing materials and presentations for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- A collaborative, low-ego approach and a desire to continuously improve both processes and outcomes.
- Experience working with McLagan or similar market data providers would be advantageous (but not essential)
This role offers a rare combination of breadth, complexity and professional development. You'll gain exposure to every aspect of reward, from regulatory matters and remuneration governance through to compensation strategy, market intelligence and executive-level decision support. Just as importantly, you'll join a team with a strong reputation for developing talent. You'll be given the support, exposure and mentorship needed to build your expertise, broaden your experience and take the next steps in your reward career. For those looking to become a well-rounded reward professional, this is an opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners, take on meaningful responsibility and make a genuine impact within a globally respected organisation.
