Our client, a highly respected international law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead their people strategy across the UK and wider EMEA region. This is a rare opportunity to join a premium legal brand where HR is truly valued at partner level. The role will suit a commercially minded HR leader with strong operational and strategic capability - and crucially, hands on experience supporting teams in Germany and Poland.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs Senior HR Manager, you will:
- Act as a trusted adviser to partners and senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
- Develop and deliver the HR strategy across the UK and EMEA.
- Provide expert HR and employment practice guidance for teams in Germany and Poland.
- Lead on employee relations, organisational design, and workforce planning.
- Oversee the end to end talent lifecycle, including performance management, L&D, and succession planning.
- Drive cultural, engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives across regional offices.
- Partner closely with Reward, Recruitment, and L&D teams.
- Mentor and guide junior HR colleagues to support a high performing function.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Extensive HR leadership experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong, demonstrable EMEA exposure, with deep understanding of the German and Polish employment landscapes.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to build credibility quickly at partner level.
- A pragmatic, solutions oriented mindset with excellent judgement.
- Experience leading change and managing complex people matters across jurisdictions.
- Outstanding communication skills and cultural awareness.
