Job Description

Electronics Design Engineer

Ely

£35,000-£55,000 DOE

Are you an electronics boffin who's ready to work with an innovative company at fore front of high performaing scientific instrument technolgoy. The role is open to exceptional graduates with a passion for electronics and physics, or seasoned electronics design engineers who would enjoy working in a scientific environment.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Design high-performance electronic systems (bespoke and for re-use) including:
    • New circuit design
    • RF and High-Voltage Systems
    • Extraction circuits
    • Data acquisition and processing
  • Liaise with the mechanical engineer, R&D and science departments
  • Problem solving

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • A degree or masters in an electronic-related subject
  • A grasp of physics principles
  • A pasison for engineering

Desirable:

  • Experience in high performance analogue design
  • Knowledge of chemistry
