Electronic Technician

North Greenwich

42.5 hrs per week

Monday - Thursday (Day and Night shifts)

£10.35 - £11.39 p/h PAYE (+ hol pay, pensions and free parking)

Due to a huge ramp up in production, we are recruiting for skilled Electronic technicans on behalf of a global Engineering company, to work in a busy production environment in Greenwich, SE London.

Full training on fibre optic handling, coding & splicing is provided to operators, however previous experience is beneficial.

Skilled Electronic operators may carry out tasks such as:

• Following detailed assembly specifications, written instructions and engineering diagrams
• Wiring racks or internal units
• Mechanical assembly of parts, kit & components
• Fine Pitch / SMD Soldering and Crimping
• Fibre optic splicing, handling and colour coding (training provided on site)
• Using in-house computer systems to log materials used (SAP training provided)

HOURS OF WORK

The successful Skilled Electronic Technician will be required to work shifts of both Days & Nights, on a 2-week rotation.

Days (x2 weeks)

Monday - Thursday: 6am - 5.15pm

Nights (x2 weeks)

Monday - Thursday: 6pm - 5.15am
