Hays are working with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to support ongoing maintenance works within a large warehouse environment.This is an initial 6-week contract, with the strong possibility of extension as the project progresses.
The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and carrying out like-for-like electrical fitting replacements across the warehouse. The role is hands-on and operational, supporting the safe and efficient running of electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities

Carrying out general PPM works across the warehouse

Completing like-for-like electrical fitting replacements

Inspecting, repairing and replacing electrical components and equipment

Responding to reactive maintenance issues where required

Working in line with health & safety procedures and site standards

Completing tasks efficiently with minimal supervision

What You'll Need

Level 3 Electrical Qualification

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

Previous experience in a warehouse, industrial or commercial environment

Ability to work independently and follow maintenance schedules

Strong awareness of electrical safety and compliance
