Job Overview
This is a Hybrid role consisting of 2-3 days a week on site assisting with electrical installations and the remainder working at the Bromsgrove office working alongside the operations team.
WSD Fire & Electrical are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of electrical systems, including the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves overseeing projects, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while maintaining high-quality work.
The chosen candidate will be selected to be the Qualified supervisor for the companies NICEIC accreditation. As such, a strong technical background and experience in this role is essential.
The roll will also see the chosen candidate working on both site and at the head office.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage a team of electricians, ensuring effective performance and adherence to project timelines.
Oversee and assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in electrical work and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
Skills
Work in a Hybrid role - eg. 3 days a week working on the tools, 2 days a week in the office.
Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams within an electrical environment.
Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
