Meta is seeking an Electrical Subject Matter Expert, our data centers serve as the foundation upon which our systems operate to meet the demands of our customers. The Electrical Subject Matter Expert will be a part of the Facility Operations team.

Electrical Subject Matter Expert Responsibilities

Serve as the primary on-site technical resource as part of a team of electrical infrastructure systems and equipment, with an emphasis on practical field application

Author or approve work procedures to cover electrical troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance activities, with an emphasis on assessing and mitigating personnel and system risk

Conduct hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure systems and equipment

Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) oversight of initial campus construction, retrofit projects, and maintenance activity

Lead and/or participate in root cause analysis activities in area of expertise, specifically electrical infrastructure systems and equipment

Provide training to Critical Facility Engineers and other cross functional teams on electrical equipment/systems and procedures

Provide feedback on global electrical maintenance strategies and global electrical system design improvement

Manage vendor relationships for electrical system maintenance and retrofit works

Other duties as required to support the operation of Meta data centers

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years electrical experience will be considered in lieu of 7+ years Journeyman experience.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and Outlook.

Experience interpreting blueprints/CAD drawings.

Working experience with CMMS systems.

Working experience in critical facilities operations.

7+ years electrical Journeyman level experience.

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years' experience in a data center or other critical environment

Experienced in the following critical systems: power distribution ranging from 13.2kV to 120VAC and associated controls systems, UPS systems, DC Power, low voltage and fire alarm systems, and have working experience in building automation systems and mechanical systems
