Electrical Service Engineer

Electrical Service Engineer required for our client, one of the largest independent security companies in the UK that specialises in Fire Suppression and detection (Alarms and Extinguishers) as well as security (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder alarms), based in the Southampton / Portsmouth area.

Electrical Service Engineer Position Remuneration

• £30,000 - £36,500 DOE
• 20 days + 8BH (increasing by 1 day per annum for every year's service up to a maximum of 25 days per year)
• Company car, mobile phone, PDA device and fuel card
• Laptop, specialist tools, equipment, stock, uniform, and PPE supplied.
• Pension
• Training
• Overtime - 1.5 - 2X
• Door to Door - hourly paid, basic pay (unless on call out - overtime rate)

Electrical Service Engineer Position Overview

• Undertake electrical repairs and installations
• Inspection reports
• Remedials
• Planned maintenance
• To perform all tasks on Fire, Gent and Notifier systems and occasionally CCTV systems.
• You will be required to work on a variety of projects including high-profile projects.

Electrical Service Engineer Position Requirements

• City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent
• 18th Edition
• Attend the call - out rota (1 in 7)
• Experience in dealing with all types of electrical fire life safety works, within the services sector
• Experience in Fire, Gent and Notifier
• Experience in CCTV, Security Systems (beneficial)
• Full UK driving licence
• Have a good professional manner and experience with high-profile clients.
• Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weights of up to 25kg
