Job Description
Job Overview

Salary: up to £48,500 per annum plus Veolia benefits. Hours: 43 hours per week (Mon Fri08 30) with a 1 in3 weekend call out rota. Location: Mobile across WestMidlands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) on industrial utility plant such as steam boilers, ASHP, compressed air systems, water treatment plant and BMS equipment.
  • Fault find and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, de commission and re commission plant.
  • Write Permit to Work and carry out isolation on equipment for contractors.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping around plant and buildings.
  • Operate and maintain site main utilities to ensure 100% service delivery under contract KPIs.
  • Interact daily with clients to deliver excellent customer service and meet service deliverables.
  • Interface with the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and provide assistance to contractors.
  • Work as part of a close team on a 1 in4 call out / weekend rota covering sites 24/7.
Key Qualifications
  • Electrical Maintenance: Qualified to C&G level; High Voltage (HV) electrics; Able to be trained as AP.
  • Proven ability to fault find on PLC and control systems.
  • Mechanical fault finding and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal and face to face.
  • Computer proficiency and PC skills.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Self motivated, proactive, team player with a "can do" attitude.
  • Willingness to coach and assist other team members.
  • Ability to maintain high housekeeping standards and manage own time.
