Electrical Package Manager - Greenfield Electrification Project (12 month contract)

Immediate start; target limited company rate approximately £70 per hour. Located in Leatherhead. Hybrid working: 3 days office, 2 remote days.

May be outside IR35 - final decision after Qdos assessment.

Job Description

KBR is looking for a Project Manager with significant experience in electrical engineering. The successful candidate will manage delivery of major electrical packages for a normally unattended Greenfield facility, including brownfield interface work. They will serve as the focal point between the Client's PMT and the KBR PMT, procurement, and engineering teams.

Main packages include Synchronous Condensers, CLRs, and major electrical equipment such as 110kV switchgear, transformers, VSD, etc.

Responsibilities include driving the multi functional delivery of the RFQ process, integrating with the construction team on ROS dates and build sequence, and facilitating stakeholder buy in. The candidate will support engineering disciplines, resolve technical issues, and acquire experience working with major equipment suppliers as a package engineer or manager. ICSS design experience is also an advantage.

Building strong working relationships with the client and prospective suppliers will be critical.
