Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Runcorn (WA7)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE) overtime
Hours: Mon - Fri 08:30-16:30hrs
Contract: Permanent

Our client is a long-established and highly respected manufacturing business, renowned for delivering bespoke solutions to leading names across the retail and food & beverage sectors.

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their close-knit engineering team.
In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in keeping production running at peak performance.

As the Electrical Maintenance Technician, your duties will be: -

• Proactively maintaining, fault-finding, and improving a range of production machinery to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Oversee installation and ongoing maintenance of production equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical calculations and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out effective fault finding.
• Participate in overtime and emergency callouts as required.
• 75% Electrical / 25% Mechanical.

The successful Electrical Maintenance Technician will have the following skills: -

• Minimum of 3 years experience within an Electrical Maintenance role.
• Level 3 Electrical qualification (NVQ/Diploma or equivalent)
• 18th Edition is desirable.
• Knowledge of current UK electrical/industry standards.
• Proven fault finding and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
• Must be flexible to overtime and emergency call outs (additional payments given).
