Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for an Electrical Engineer Platform Systems to add to their talented, hardworking team in Scotstoun, Glasgow (full time onsite) on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity, you can ensure no two days will be the same.

Rates: £40.64 per hour inside / umbrella

Working as part of the Stage 1 Electrical Platform Systems Engineering Team, authoring, developing and managing documentation to support the Electrical Functional Design for the latest Naval Ships.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in the development of the electrical solution for the ships.

• Author, develop and manage Single Line Diagrams / Cable Schedules
• Author, develop and manage Technical Equipment Specifications
• Author, develop and manage Schedules of Work
• Support the Senior/Principal Engineers in the discharge of their roles
• Change management support

• Minimal experience in engineering or a defence related industry
• Strong understanding of Detail Design Requirements as immediate customer in Engineering Lifecycle
• Understanding of lifecycle management process
