JIB rates of pay with additional benefits Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in the Coleford Gloucestershire area for an Electrician, preferably an Approved Electrician.

The engineer will be responsible for performing electrical repairs, industrial and commercial electrical installation work, testing electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety standards are met and completing online installation condition reports, certification, maintaining electrical equipment, and troubleshooting electrical issues etc.

• Completion of a recognised electrical apprenticeship program.
• Certification as an Approved Electrician, e.g., Inspection and Test 2391 or an equivalent qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.
• Experience in electrical repair and installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license is required.
