The position
As an Electrical Site Reliability Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineering Reliability Engineer, you will play a vital role within the Engineering and Maintenance (E&M) department, which consists of both an Engineering team and a Daily Maintenance team. The department is collectively responsible for ensuring the technical reliability and performance of all installations. You will work alongside specialists in Mechanical, I&C, DCS, SIL, and Civil Engineering, collaboratively developing robust maintenance strategies to ensure optimal plant operation.
You will also serve as a key liaison between engineering, daily maintenance, and operational teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting technical decision-making.
- Develop comprehensive maintenance plans in SAP, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and regulatory standards.
- Initiate and assess new proposals or PO plans aimed at increasing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage spare parts inventory based on criticality studies to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate closely with Asset Management to align project goals and maintenance strategies.
- Perform ongoing analysis of maintenance performance, focusing on availability, reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities through the evaluation of maintenance and operational data.
- Act as a key point of contact for Technicians and Maintenance Coordinators, providing clear communication about updates and changes to the maintenance process.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with both management and technical teams regarding maintenance strategies and changes.
What you bring to the position
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a specialization in Energy Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Reliability Engineer, preferably within a complex technical or industrial environment.
- Proficient in developing Installation Maintenance Plans in accordance with legal and regulatory standards, criticality studies, and FMEAs.
- Capable of translating strategic maintenance plans into detailed, actionable work assignments.
- Strong background in Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and turning findings into practical, long-term solutions.
- Experienced with continuous improvement methodologies such as the PDCA cycle.
- Adaptable, with the ability to switch between operational, tactical, and strategic levels, and bring forward innovative approaches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and proactive mindset. Able to influence and present ideas effectively-even when they challenge the status quo.
