Electrical Design Engineer

Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading electrical services contractor, as they look to grow their newlyestablished designand bespoke lighting installationdivision.

The successful candidate will be an essential member of this growing division, with influence on the direction and development of the team's operation.

In return for your hard work,they'reoffering an excellent salary of up to c£60,000 per annum, alongside overtime options paid at 1.5x or 2x, Christmas shutdown, some hybrid flexibility and company pension scheme.

Responsibilities

• Draft technical drawingsfor electrical projects of varying sizes
• Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD software
• Prepare relevant technical documentation and specifications
• Report to the Design Manager and work collaboratively with the wider engineering team
• Manage the client relationship and ensure their needs are met
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard andin a timely manner

Skills & Experience

• Previousexperience inanElectrical Design Engineer or similar role
• Confident user of packages such as AutoCAD, TrimbleProDesign(Amtech),DialuxandRelux
• Strong communicationskills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Hold 18 th Edition or strong understanding of BS7671
• Clean UK driving licence
