Company Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a key client based in the North, specializing in engineering across chemical, oil & gas, and other process industries. They seek an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong project background for an initial 6-month contract with a potential for extension.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and review electrical designs and cable calculations.
2. Coordinate internal and client audit requests, facilitating audit procedures of engineering systems.
3. Identify and resolve discrepancies from the original proposal.
4. Review and check specifications, drawings, schedules, and data sheets.

Candidate Attributes

1. Knowledge of electrical systems from low to high voltage.
2. Good understanding of cyber protection.
3. Strong background in process engineering, preferably in oil & gas.
4. HND/HNC degree qualification.
