Electrical Design Engineer - South Yorkshire - Permanent - AutoCAD - £50-60k

Samuel Frank is recruiting for a South Yorkshire based engineering company as they're looking to add a new Electrical Design Engineer to the team on a staff basis. The successful Electrical Design Engineer will work on a wide variety of complex projects and have the opportunity to progress to more senior roles in the department.

Electrical Design Engineer's key responsibilities:

• Producing Single Line Diagrams & General Arrangement
• Attending and contributing to design review meetings
• Creating detailed electrical schematics and layouts
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications
• Produce documentation related to Factory Acceptance Testing and attend test sessions at panel manufacturer sites
• Knowledge of industrial control systems including electrical distribution equipment, motor control centres and PLC control panels

Electrical Design Engineer's main requirements:

• Strong Electrical Design background
• Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of BS EN 60204 and BS7671
• Experience working on industrial or commercial projects
• Ability to work effectively in an office-based team (4 days/week)

The office is commutable from Leeds, Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Wakefield, Chesterfield, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Rotherham, Batley, Bradford and Chesterfield.
