What You Will Do:
- Develop and integrate cutting-edge control systems solutions in collaboration with mechanical and hydraulics engineers.
- Check and approve engineering drawings, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
- See projects through from concept to completion.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and compile essential technical documents, including specifications, reports, and manuals.
- Engage in hydraulic hardware development and testing, pushing the boundaries of engineering.
- Interpret technical specifications and liaise with suppliers, acting as a key representative at customer review meetings.
- Support the production, test, and field engineering teams, providing expert guidance and assistance.
What You Will Bring:
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline, showcasing your foundation of knowledge.
- Proven experience in the design, testing, and development of PLC Electrical control systems, ideally within medium to heavy engineering environments.
- Expertise in 3D CAD design and a track record of leading projects from concept to production.
- Experience in developing control systems for heavy hydraulically-operated vehicles would be advantageous.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and analysis tools, coupled with a methodical approach and great analytical skills.
Location:
Based at the UK head office in Stockport, you'll be positioned in a strategic location that blends excellent connectivity with a rich industrial heritage. The role will have a hybrid working structure with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
