E&I Technician - Midstream Operations

What You'll Be Doing

As an E&I Technician, you'll be hands-on with complex midstream assets-performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and contributing directly to the reliability of key systems. You'll be a crucial part of the maintenance team, executing your work according to schedule or operational priority, and logging insights into MAXIMO, our asset management system.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Perform E&I maintenance on high-spec energy infrastructure.
• Coordinate seamlessly with Operators and report to the Maintenance Coordinator.
• Execute modifications and upgrades as part of ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Supervise subcontractors and service engineers.
• Update and mark up technical drawings post-maintenance.
• Provide key input to the Engineering team on preventive tasks.
• Maintain safety-first standards while working under NEN3140 & 3840 guidelines.
• Contribute to site housekeeping and hazard reporting.
• Create and follow up on work requests, ensuring all maintenance records are detailed and accurate.

Admin & Reporting Tasks:

• Daily reporting of maintenance results, failures, findings, and material usage.
• Prepare material requests and maintain project documentation.

Who We're Looking For:

We're seeking a technically-savvy and safety-conscious professional who thrives in a dynamic, industrial environment. You're proactive, collaborative, and you take pride in delivering work that keeps energy flowing safely and efficiently.

Minimum qualifications:

• MTS Level 4 diploma in a technical discipline.
• 5-10 years of E&I experience within the Oil & Gas or energy sector.
• Dutch and English language proficiency (written & spoken).

Bonus points if you bring:

• Hands-on experience with PLCs, control systems, metering, and VSDs.
• Familiarity with ATEX environments and gas turbine-driven systems (compressors, pumps, etc.).
• Knowledge of PtW systems and CMMS (preferably MAXIMO).
• Experience with LV and HV installations.
• Strong working knowledge of Office 365 tools.
• Residency in the Netherlands and fluency in Dutch.
