Their Education Department supports a wide portfolio of programmes, assessments and accreditation processes. Much of their work involves analysing complex educational data, reviewing programme evidence, developing robust assessment content and supporting stakeholders to deliver high-quality learning experiences. To strengthen this work, they are introducing a new Educationalist role to provide dedicated expertise and insight.Key Responsibilities 
- Build strong, collaborative working relationships with Education team colleagues, internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Review and critically analyse a broad range of information relating to educational quality across undergraduate, postgraduate and professional development programmes.
- Evaluate curriculum structure, constructive alignment, and the scope and coherence of learning outcomes.
- Assess organisational processes such as admissions, quality improvement activity, and student/staff support mechanisms.
- Analyse assessment validity, reliability and performance data to support effective decision-making.
- Review and report on programme evidence submitted for accreditation or ongoing quality assurance.
- Evaluate postgraduate and advanced-level programme submissions, including learning and teaching methodology, assessment design, and alignment to relevant higher education frameworks.
- Review specialist or advanced training programme information, including overseas provision, ensuring consistency with established standards.
- Contribute to the development or review of assessment content such as written papers, performance assessments, workplace-based assessments and synoptic examinations.
- Support and contribute to projects that strengthen or enhance organisational educational processes.
- Present technical educational content to a range of audiences, providing expert-level explanations or accessible summaries depending on need.
- Produce clear, high-quality reports, proposals and committee papers.
- Attend and contribute to external meetings, events and forums relating to education and professional standards.
- Strong background in education, curriculum design, assessment, or educational quality.
- Experience analysing complex educational data, including statistical or psychometric information.
- Understanding of higher education frameworks and academic quality standards (e.g., FHEQ levels).
- Ability to communicate complex educational concepts clearly to both expert and non-expert audiences.
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills and collaborative working style.
- High attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Salary: £54,000-£58,000
