Job Description

Educational Psychologist London & Home Counties

Olive Branch Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Educational Psychologist on behalf of a growing education-focused organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an EP who enjoys working collaboratively with schools, families and education professionals, while having the autonomy to deliver high-quality psychological assessment and intervention.

The Role

As an Educational Psychologist, you will:

  • Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments to understand children's educational, emotional and psychological needs.
  • Work closely with schools, teachers and parents to develop appropriate intervention strategies and support plans.
  • Provide expert advice to education professionals around SEN, learning needs and effective classroom strategies.
  • Contribute to wider school initiatives designed to improve inclusion, wellbeing and educational outcomes.
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of EHCPs where appropriate.
  • Apply current research and evidence-based approaches to your practice.
  • Build strong relationships with schools and other professionals across your portfolio.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with Educational Psychologists who have:

  • A recognised postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology.
  • HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
  • Previous experience working as an EP within UK schools.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK education and SEN landscape.
  • Excellent psychological assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, teachers and multidisciplinary professionals.
  • Experience providing evidence-based recommendations and interventions.
  • A genuine commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for children and young people.
  • Flexibility to travel between schools across London and the Home Counties.
