We are now looking for an Education Recruitment Consultant to join our North West team in Preston, focusing on delivering high-quality matches between schools and educators, with a strong emphasis on long-term and high-value placements.

As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in managing and fulfilling school staffing requirements, ensuring roles are filled efficiently and to a high standard.

You will work across a high-volume, fast-paced environment, supporting both schools and educators throughout the full matching process - from initial requirement through to successful placement.

This role is heavily focused on maximising filled roles, driving utilisation, and delivering a strong service experience to both clients and educators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively match educators to school requirements using the platform and other recruitment methods
  • Follow up on placements to ensure successful outcomes and identify further opportunities with schools
  • Build strong relationships with schools to generate repeat business and additional bookings
  • Deliver an excellent experience for educators, supporting them into suitable roles quickly
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to place newly cleared educators into their first role
  • Handle queries from schools and educators via phone and email where required
  • Support schools and educators in using the Humly platform effectively
  • Maintain a strong focus on performance targets, particularly around worked hours and fill rates
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities based on business and market needs
What We're Looking For
  • Target-driven with a strong focus on results
  • Organised and able to manage a high volume of activity
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and maximise opportunities
  • Resilient and proactive, with a strong work ethic
  • Previous experience in recruitment or sales is beneficial but not essential
Working Pattern
  • Monday - Thursday: 07:15 - 17:00
  • Friday: Early finish
  • Work from home: Thursdays
  • School holidays: Reduced working hours
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £27,500 - £38,000 (depending on experience)
  • Bonus: Team-based commission (5% - 30% of monthly gross)
  • Additional performance-based incentives
  • Private medical insurance
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity
  • Free onsite parking
  • Long-term career progression opportunities within Humly
What Success Looks Like (3-6 Months)
  • Consistently filling roles across your market
  • Building strong relationships with key schools, leading to repeat bookings
  • Successfully placing newly cleared educators into work quickly
  • Delivering against key performance metrics, particularly worked hours and fill rate
  • Becoming confident in managing your own pipeline of school demand
