EDI Systems Technician - Digital Manufacturing

Do you have experience working with EDI systems in industrial environments?
At Ebro Factory, we are looking for a professional who can bridge our MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and EDI platforms, ensuring seamless data flow between our plant and external systems.
Your Mission
You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving our EDI and MES platforms, playing a key role in integrating production data with enterprise systems and external partners. You will be part of the OT Systems team, collaborating closely with IT, Production, and Engineering areas.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage EDI data exchange processes with customers, suppliers, and internal systems.
- Ensure accurate configuration and integration between EDI and MES tools.
- Troubleshoot EDI-related errors and perform root cause analysis.
- Support MES system activities (configuration, deployment, training, documentation).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements.
- Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance with IT/OT standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with EDI and/or MES systems.
- Experience with EDI protocols (EDIFACT, X12, XML, etc.) and related platforms.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Availability to travel and valid driver's license.
