EDI Manager

Our client is seeking a high-performing EDI Manager ready to step into a broader leadership role. In this critical position, you'll shape the strategy, systems, and performance of enterprise-wide EDI operations. Your work will play a central role in ensuring seamless communication across supply chains and partner networks, making a tangible impact on operational excellence.

Compensation

• $100,000 - $110,000

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and execute the EDI roadmap aligned with business goals
• Manage the EDI team, including hiring, training, and performance development
• Lead vendor relationships, contracts, and SLA compliance
• Oversee deployment, performance, and maintenance of all EDI systems
• Partner with operations to drive ASN compliance and cross-dock strategies
• Resolve escalated EDI issues and recommend process enhancements
• Monitor industry trends and assess applicability for continuous improvement

What You'll Need to be Considered

• 6 years of experience in EDI systems development, implementation, and management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Familiarity with OpenText TrustedLink and BizManager
• Experience with iSeries and RPG file structures
• Strong knowledge of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2, FTP, and VAN protocols
• Knowledge of INFOR systems is a plus
• Strong project management, budgeting, and planning skills.
• Must be able to work fully on-site in Birmingham, AL (this is not a remote role)
