Your role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Ecommerce Merchandising Manager for our retail brand Glasses Direct.
The Merchandise Marketing Manager is responsible for driving product strategy for frames and lenses, focusing on assortment planning, product calendar development, and experience optimization. This role is key to increasing Average Order Value and improving conversion rates and gross margins.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business objectives to enhance AOV, CVR, and product margins.
- Develop and execute action plans across product assortment, marketing, website experience, and other functions to support strategic goals.
Product Assortment and Pricing Management
- Lead the development and management of the frame assortment plan, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Coordinate new frame introduction plans with the group team.
- Work with cross-functional teams to oversee lens assortment planning and pricing strategies to optimize profitability and competitiveness.
AOV, CVR, and Margin Optimization
- Lead initiatives to optimize AOV and execute related projects.
- Collaborate with UX teams to improve website experience, increase CVR, and boost user engagement.
- Monitor product margin performance and refine pricing strategies to enhance profitability.
Product Marketing Calendar Development and Execution
- Create and implement a product marketing calendar aligned with key campaigns and seasonal initiatives.
- Coordinate with UX, CRM, Brand, and Marketing teams for strategic alignment and seamless execution.
- Work with the Group Merchandising team to finalize promotional calendars, ensuring compliance with MAP policies and brand standards.
Reporting and Analysis
- Conduct research and analysis to inform product assortment, marketing strategies, and margin improvements.
- Generate reports and insights to guide strategic decisions and ongoing optimization.

- Merchandise Marketing Experience: Hands-on experience managing eCommerce product marketing.
- Influencing & Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and collaborate across diverse teams and cultural backgrounds.

- Data Analysis Skills: Strong analytical skills for interpreting large data sets and making data-driven decisions.
- Reporting & Data Visualization: Advanced skills in creating impactful reports and visualizations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities across all levels.
