Location: Stamford Contract: Full-Time (Full-Time across 4 days - 1 day off each week) Pay: £27,170 - £29,146 a year (Full-Time) or from £14.24 per hour (temporary roles) Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and nurturing Level 3 EYFS Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming early years setting.

This role is ideal for someone committed to supporting young children during the most important stages of their development and creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment.

Short-term temporary positions are available over the summer holidays. Permanent opportunities are available for the right candidate. Flexible temporary and long-term roles also available - please get in touch to discuss.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting Children

• Support children aged 0-5 years in their learning and development
• Assist with play-based activities and daily routines
• Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social development
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment
• Support children's personal care, wellbeing, and development

Supporting Staff

• Assist with delivering engaging early years activities
• Help prepare and maintain learning environments and resources
• Support observation of children's development where required
• Work collaboratively with staff to support progress

Supporting the Setting

• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
• Work effectively with colleagues and parents/carers
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Person Specification

Essential

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare(preferred)
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

Desirable

• Experience in an early years setting
• Knowledge of EYFS framework
• Experience supporting children with additional needs
