Job Description

E&I Service & Commissioning Technician / Engineer role

  • Location: Leinster Region (Predominantly Kildare, Dublin, Greater Dublin)
  • 40% Commissioning / 60% Service - E&I Equipment on Pharma, Life Science, High Tech Client Sites
  • Requires an experienced E&I Commissioning & Service Technician / Engineer with a Degree, Diploma in Electrical or a qualified electrician.
  • Hours: Straight Days Monday to Friday

The role in detail
  • Service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Honeywell Fixed/Portable gas detection equipment covered by the service contract on manufacturing/industrial client sites.
  • Commissioning works - involved with an Engineering team overseeing roll out and ongoing upgrades of high end gas detection systems.
  • Check, inspect, and test every operational component of the project to ensure correct function.
  • Forge quality customer relationships by liaising professionally with customers on site, documenting problem resolution and preventive actions.
  • Accurately record all daily operation activities.
  • Proactively review and monitor your own work schedule within the team to meet customer expectations.
  • Build a strong working relationship with other service engineers to ensure delivery within the Service Level Agreement.
Experience Required
  • Cover the Leinster region, with flexibility to work on other Irish sites on occasion.
  • Experience in E&I or electrical commissioning, and maintenance/service works on industrial sites / manufacturing environments.
  • E&I experience required; upskilling in high end gas detection systems will occur.
  • Third level qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree) or a Qualified Electrician.
  • Strong technical ability in all aspects of Electrical Engineering Services, good knowledge of electrical control systems, and fault finding.
