Looking to start your career in the Civil Service? The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is recruiting Administrative Officers through the Going Forward into Employment (GFiE) scheme, exclusively for care experienced young people.

This is an 18 month, full time, office based role based in DWP Job Centres, where you'll provide excellent customer service, support people accessing benefits, help customers use digital services and build valuable skills in communication, administration and problem solving. Full training, ongoing development and workplace support will be provided throughout the programme.

Job Centre locations: Barking, Tower Hamlets, Walthamstow, Harrow, Uxbridge, Kingston, Hendon and Watford.

As the role is fully office based with no hybrid working, it is important that you choose the location that is closest to you and that you can commute to on a regular basis.

Salary: £29,722 per year.

• Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week. Shifts may be scheduled between 7:45 am and 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8:45 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays, depending on business needs.
