Duty Locum GP

An excellent opportunity to support a practice located in a small town in Southwest Somerset. From mid-June, they require a Locum GP for 4 duty sessions per week, preferably at the beginning or end of the week.

You will be working for a dynamic and pioneering organisation at the forefront of change and innovation within Primary Care, with the benefits of a small, semi-rural "family feel" practice in a stunning location.

Salary - £850 per day

Location - Southwest Somerset area

The surgery

• Part of a dynamic Primary Care organisation
• Purpose-built building
• Dispensing practice with on-site dispensary
• Great clinical and admin support
• CQC rated Good
• Uses EMIS system

Your role

• Work on Mondays and Tuesdays in April
• Potential to extend beyond April
• Duty sessions with 15-minute appointments
• See approximately 22 patients per day in a standard clinic
• Supported by a varied MDT including ECPs, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, and HCAs
• Support from PCN Home Visiting team
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner, registered with the GMC, and on the UK Performers List.
