Dual Fuel SMART Meter Installer - Greater Manchester

We're looking for Dual Fuel SMART Meter Installers to join our growing team across the Greater Manchester area. Competitive base salary of £40,532, reviewed annually. Quarterly performance-based bonus through our Field Incentive Scheme, with the opportunity to earn up to £4,800 per year. Here's a taste of what you'll be doing

• You'll visit customers in their homes, supporting those who may be struggling with their energy bills by providing tailored advice and, where appropriate, installing SMART Pay As You Go (PAYG) meters to help them take control of their energy use.
• You'll also investigate reports of meter tampering, ensuring installations are safe and secure.
• This role offers the flexibility to support your work-life balance, as long as you meet your weekly working hours.
• Delivering excellent face-to-face customer service.
• Working with customers to discuss and agree suitable payment solutions.
• Exchanging meters to SMART Pay As You Go (PAYG) or classic prepayment meters.
• Leading warrant teams, where required, to safely disconnect meters.
• Planning efficient daily routes to help reduce your carbon footprint.
• Uploading job information securely, including body-worn video footage (with a monthly broadband & electric allowance provided).

Are we a match?

We're looking for someone with:

• MOCOPA/CMA1/MET2 qualifications.
• A home base in or within easy travelling distance of the Greater Manchester area.
• A full UK or EU driving licence (up to 6 points accepted).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• The confidence to work independently in the field.
• A willingness to undertake 3-phase electricity training, including travel and overnight stays where required.
• Access to broadband at home.

Here's what else you need to know

This is a permanent role. Your role also includes monthly £10 electric and broadband allowances. This role can close at any time. If you're successful, your start date will be 2027. Excellent parental leave allowance.
