DTC Ecommerce Manager
London | Hybrid Working | Permanent
I'm partnering with a high-growth consumer brand to find a hands-on DTC Growth Manager who can turn an underdeveloped E-commerce channel into a meaningful revenue driver.
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, fast-growing business at an exciting stage of its journey. With a strong brand, an established customer base and significant untapped online potential, the business is looking for someone who can build, test and scale its direct-to-consumer operation.
The OpportunityThis is a genuine build-from-scratch role. You'll own the DTC channel end to end, combining growth strategy with hands-on execution across paid acquisition, E-commerce optimisation and customer retention.
You'll have the autonomy to shape the roadmap, manage investment and work closely with brand and operations teams to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Paid acquisition: Plan, launch and optimise campaigns across Meta and Google, managing budgets against CAC, ROAS and revenue targets.
- DTC growth: Own the E-commerce roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve conversion, average order value and overall channel performance.
- Shopify & CRO: Manage the onsite customer journey, merchandising, landing pages and structured testing to improve conversion.
- CRM & retention: Develop email marketing, life cycle automation and segmentation to increase repeat purchase and customer lifetime value.
- Performance analytics: Own reporting across the funnel, using data to make informed decisions on spend, acquisition and profitability.
- Creative testing: Partner with the brand team to brief and test creative that balances brand identity with commercial performance.
- Commercial operations: Work with operations to ensure stock, fulfilment, delivery and margins support the customer proposition.
- Channel development: Identify and test new opportunities to accelerate DTC growth.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience across DTC E-commerce, growth marketing or performance marketing.
- Proven, hands-on experience managing paid acquisition campaigns, particularly across Meta and Google.
- Experience with Shopify or a comparable E-commerce platform.
- A strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, conversion, AOV, retention and customer lifetime value.
- Experience with analytics, tracking and CRM tools such as GA4 and Klaviyo.
- Commercial awareness, with an understanding of E-commerce unit economics and profitability.
- An entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, analytical, resourceful and comfortable building without an established playbook.
- Someone who enjoys both setting direction and getting into the detail to make things happen.
Experience within a fast-growing consumer brand is highly desirable. You don't need to have worked in the same product category, but you must understand how to grow a DTC business commercially.
Why Consider It?- The opportunity to take ownership of a high-potential DTC channel.
- Direct influence over growth strategy, investment and commercial outcomes.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with room to shape the role.
- The chance to make a measurable impact within an ambitious consumer business.
Interested?
If you're a hands-on DTC or growth specialist looking for the autonomy to build, experiment and deliver measurable results, I'd be keen to speak.
