DT Teacher (Design & Technology) - PrestonSeptember 2026 Start Full-Time Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Preston to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time teaching position initially offered on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community and is known for its strong academic outcomes, positive behaviour culture, and supportive leadership team.
The RoleAs a DT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 being advantageous. You will inspire students to develop their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and technical skills, helping them to achieve excellent outcomes in a supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and well-resourced department committed to delivering a broad and innovative curriculum that prepares students for future study and employment.
