Job Opportunity: UAV Pilot (Netherlands-Based, Global Travel)

Are you an experienced UAV Pilot looking for an exciting role that combines cutting-edge technology with international travel? We're seeking a skilled and motivated UAV Pilot to join our growing team in the Netherlands , with opportunities to support operations around the world.

Location: Netherlands (with global travel)

Employment: Full-time

Travel: Approximately 20-40% internationally, depending on project demand

About the Role

As a UAV Pilot, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing unmanned aerial survey and inspection missions for a wide range of clients. You'll work with advanced UAV platforms and sensors while collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate multirotor and/or fixed-wing UAVs for inspections, mapping, monitoring, and data collection
• Conduct pre-flight checks, risk assessments, and mission planning
• Manage flight logs, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance
• Process and review collected data for quality assurance
• Travel internationally to support field projects when required
• Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism at all times

Requirements

• Valid UAV pilot certification (A1/A3, A2, or STS preferred)
• Proven hands-on flight experience with professional-grade UAVs
• Strong understanding of EASA regulations and operational standards
• Ability to travel globally for short-term assignments
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Clean driving licence (EU licence preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LiDAR, photogrammetry, thermal imaging, or inspection payloads
• Background in surveying, GIS, engineering, or related fields
• Experience working in dynamic or remote field environments
