Driver/Branch Assistant 7.5T

Overview

The following content displays a map of the job's location - Staines. Working as our Driver/Branch Assistant you will be out and about delivering and collecting equipment in a 7.5t vehicle. You may be required to demonstrate how to use the equipment. After completing tasks you'll return to base to join the team in the branch.

Responsibilities

• Complete all deliveries and collections as allocated by your line manager
• Perform demonstrations and ensure sound presentation of all equipment
• Carry out vehicle checks every morning (oil and water levels, lights and tyres)
• Be aware of and alert to any new business opportunities
• Ensure all customer and business documents are completed in full
• Be a champion of health and safety, maintaining MEP's impeccable track record

Qualifications

• Multi-drop driving experience
• Experience of driving a 7.5T vehicle and a good knowledge of the area
• You'll enjoy meeting people and be an advocate for excellent customer service
• Interest in machinery with basic knowledge of how equipment works or a willingness to learn
• Ability to demonstrate the use of all equipment (once learned)
• Basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace
• 7.5t UK driving licence is essential
