Driver Labourer

Your new companyLocation: Sefton Contract: Temporary (2-3 Months) Start Date: Immediate Start Available Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Driver Labourer to join a busy housing team in Sefton on a temporary contract for an initial 2-3 month period. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual with experience working in social housing, construction, grounds maintenance, or property services.

Your new roleAs a Driver Labourer, your duties will include:

• Driving a company vehicle between housing estates and work locations
• Assisting with property and estate maintenance works
• Carrying out general labouring duties as required
• Completing minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks
• Supporting internal and external painting and decorating works
• Conducting litter picks across estates and communal areas
• Removing rubbish, fly-tipping, and bulky waste items
• Assisting with clear landing procedures
• Helping to maintain clean, safe, and well-presented communal areas

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Driver Labourer, Labourer, Estate Operative, Caretaker, Grounds Maintenance Operative, or similar role
• Experience working in social housing, construction, facilities management, or property maintenance environments
• Ability to carry out manual handling and physically demanding work
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Full UK Driving Licence
